Answer: Xalwa a somali (cornflour paste)
I had to Google foods that started with an "X" (yes I know, an admission that exposes me as a homebody, not worldly at all), and this seemed the least appetizing on the list other than gum; I'm not so sure gum counts as "food". I suppose in the sense that you can eat the stuff and not die it's a food, though I'm under the impression that sustenance should come into play at some point. The other option was Xmas [insert Christmas food here], but that seemed a bit more like cheating than even I'd be comfortable with. But on the off chance that we have to have had the food for it to qualify as something we hate, I'd double cheat and say Xmas figgy pudding.

*Since the entire alphabet usually spans two pages (or more) of posts, I though mentioning the theme at the beginning of each post might speed things up. Just a thought!

Za (Slang for pizza. It's a valid Scrabble word, so I guess it counts. I dislike traditional Za with Tomato Sauce, and prefer mine with Ranch Sauce.)
