Isn't it easy enough to subpoena his phone records from the service provider?
One of my co workers was able to retrieve a complete catalog of text messages during a custody battle.
That's exactly what I was thinking and Brady must know that.

Can they do that legally though because (as of now) it's not a criminal case?

Not sure what will happen when it does go to court.

It doesn't look good for Brady if he did that, for sure. I know there are a lot of people who deny they did something right up until the point where they're proven to be liars but I hope he isn't one of them. Very disappointing as he didn't need to do it--any of it, if it's true--and now there will always be a smear on his record.

Find Brady's phone and I'm sure you'll get a few tickets from The Commish......:biggrin-new:
Oh no way. Uh-uh. I am on Brady's side in this. ;-D

I mean, he shouldn't have done it, and I would be interested to know the why of it. He is a phenomenal QB, surely he didn't think he needed the tiny advantage the underinflated balls gave him. I don't know. But I think the 4 game suspension was over the top and he is just falling victim, somewhat, to all of the bad behavior/criminal stuff other players have been involved with in the last year (and before) and Goodell thinking it is time to drop the hammer and get hold of his league. It was breaking the rules, but sheesh, pretty minor. They still would have beat the Colts that day.

Destroying the phone was a bone-headed move for sure, though. Maybe he has had too many concussions, to think that would work. I think if he had turned over his phone (privacy issues aside, I don't blame him for NOT wanting to, whether there were damning texts on it or not, because this is just an NFL investigation, not a criminal case) he might have succeeded somewhat with his appeal. But destroying the phone just makes him look guilty.

All of you had me so confused here talking about Brady, Brady, Brady. It just didn't seem to fit with the creepy guy from Mr. Mercedes so i wondered "what the heck....?". At last i got in my big stupid brain that it is another brady youre talking about.

NFL.... Thats American Football, Right? Two sports i never really got was that and (please don't tell SK, hell make me the victim of something horrible in his next book) and Baseball. The little i've seen was boring which, i guess, only proves how unamerican i can be.
That will be two Our Fathers’ and three Hail Mary’s as your penance. :)
