Some ancient Babylonian law code (so called the Code of Hammurabi) are written on a human-sized stone stele shaped like a huge index finger. Would like I to know why was chosen such unusual form for so important writing? :umm: Are opinions?

...I can see the resemblance..., but don't think there is anything mystical about the choice...stele were often used for "official" notices of the time....
Ancient stone tablets often hide secrets... For example, some letters of Tablets of Stone and Code of Hammurabi have the through holes and may be read on both sides...

Obelisks were quite common in the old days. They were quite heavy and, when moving them, one might knuckle under the pressure. If this happens they should rest under a shady palm, or ask thumb-one to give them a hand.:playful:
