I'm a little curious about a guy called Bentley Little. Some of his books looks interesting. Is he worth looking into? Books to start with? Must reads? Books to avoid? Any input appreciated.

I recently read "Guests" by Bentley Little.
A little slow to start but it got very good about a third of the way in.

The Bentley Little book that I read that stands out in my mind right now is "The Association." (I've read a couple others, but I'd have to look for the titles.) Anyway, I enjoyed the story...flew through that book really fast so I could see what happened next. It's about an evil home owner's association. I have a couple more of his books on my shelf I'm looking forward to reading in the near future.
The Association is also my favorite Little book! I have enjoyed all of them though.I am currently hoarding the last three for "treats."
I just finished "The Consultant" which is the only book of his that I've read. It's entertaining. Not a great book, but readable. I wouldn't rank it as on the same level as say Robert McCammon but beggars can't be choosers in the horror genre. There are some truly awful horror authors.
Just finished "The Store" which is a decent one. It is a bit "Needful Things." Themes about corporate power and consumer materialism, aka Walmart, destroying small businesses and taking over a small town.
I am currently about halfway through "The Store".
Quite enjoying it so far, but...
The bit with the lie detector, urine sample and gauntlet were so far fetched that it jolted me out of the story.
She just wouldn't do that, maybe if that happened further into the story, when she was more brainwashed etc it would be easier to swallow.

I was going to suggest The Store. It's the only one I've read. Been awhile, but I remember it being decent.
