So, today is 5-27. (At least where I am, anyway!) The date is important to me because it marks the four year anniversary of my joining the SKMB.
I may not always post a lot, or participate in all the happenings here, but I still love it here. I spend way more time here than I probably should! I have spent four years watching people come and go. I've learned so much about all of the people here, yet I don't really know very many. I read pretty much every thread. I care about being here, I care about the people here. The people here have a place in my heart...even the ones who don't know me. I laugh and cry along with all of you.
I've been through some interesting things since I joined the MB. On the top of that list is being able to go to the Kon in Maine and then the Kon in Ohio. I had the great pleasure of meeting some of the people from here and I will always treasure that. I'm hoping to meet even more when the next Kon comes to Colorado next Summer!!
Not every experience I've had being involved with this place was 100% positive, and I wouldn't trade that, either. That's a part of life...learning from all of your experiences.
I hope to continue spending my time here, learning from people and the SKMB for a long time to come. Maybe even get to know some more of you!
Thanks for "listening."
