I want to know if( well my dad told me there's an afterlife) but is it interesting?

My personal belief is that there is a higher power that dictated the start of everything. And my father goes, "Oh, who created him?" and my mother goes, "you don't have no faith."
Should this be in the new thread you started about whether people believe in an afterlife?
We had 'Friday' school at the Anglican church(Church of England) because my father didn't trust Catholics and the guy that ran the place did exorcisms. No joke. Tall serious dark haired guy with a blonde wife. Two ******* kids who no one liked. But my mother came up there sometimes, lime cordial and lamingtons and then after running around sit down for two hours and talk Bible.
Alright, thanks for that. I didn't mean it to be a new thread. That it be good if some people believe in something apart from just dying.
Well, i dont believe in an afterlife. I think we, like all other animals, turn to dust in time and with luck leave a few bones behind but thats all.
Sure I do. I'm an Irish Catholic ... but more importantly my Higher power has kept me sober xxx
Yes, I believe in the afterlife. Now and ever, and unto ages of ages.
Anything is possible. Right now I'm satisfied with doing the best I can for as many as I can. If there is an afterlife, I might witness it; if not, I made life a little better for those around me while I was alive. Win/win situation.
Whatever comes next, I couldn't give a **** as long as there's cookies and rock n' roll. 
Had this conversation with my bff the other night. I believe there is something beyond this level of existence. We all have souls, correct? Well, except for politicians. 
So, if we all have souls, then where do they come from? Where have they been? Our bodies are flesh and blood and bones and also energy (electricity). I don't think that that energy just simply stops- it just goes on to the next level of existence. I'm going to be really p*ssed if there's any Kar-trash-ians on the next level....
