Exactly. I mean, what if an American goes on holiday to Canada, then they decide not to let them back in?
I'm ok with being stuck in Canada.
This is a little off topic but it has to do with not getting out of a country. It's something everyone should think about before they go somewhere and make sure that if something goes wrong, they don't mind staying for a while. I know someone that was in Cancun a few years ago when Hurricane Wilma hit there. They were stranded there with no electricity and no way out for several days. They were in a touristy area but most of the hotels around had damage (luckily theirs did not and they could stay in theirs) and many people had to go to shelters. It's bad enough if you have to go to a shelter in your own country but it has to be much worse so far away from home when you don't speak the language.
The real crazy thing about that situation is that Hurricane Wilma left Cancun and then hit my friend's house in Florida a few days later.
