I stopped buying pet treats and toys made in China years ago.......and most other things, too if I have a choice

Well since the Chinese are actually fond of eating dog meat, if you feed your dog pet treats from there you may just be turning them into cannibals!

In the past China has been a known factor in numerous pet food recalls.

That's very true... and the food or treat doesn't even have to be made in China. It can be a food made in USA that uses an ingredient imported from China. A few years back, Diamond dog food and others were recalled because a protein type ingredient imported from China caused kidney failure
Even dog dishes made in China are unhealthy. My dog eats out of a Fiesta ware bowl (no lead).
