But so many people don't get immunized for whatever reason. I hope it's limited to those three kids.
Stay safe! This is really scary as people all over the world refuse to get immunized and we start having deseases that were almost gone for many, many years. What makes it funny is that now people stop talking about the harm that can be done by vaccination, now everybody asks when we get immunized against the Corona. Suddenly, everybody seems to like vaccination :D

BTW, here we also have about 100 cases of the Coronavirus now. That's the official data. I am sure that in reality there are much, much more cases. Experts say that now it' s a problem that concerns each person in the world, but what makes it better - they say the virus will become less lethal, it will be weaker. But it will come to us every year like the flu.

Never ever been vaccinated, never plan to, even if they do come out with a miraculous Coronavirus vaccination. This could have all have been stopped had we locked down China, sigh. ANyway, hope you stay safe.

6 cases now in NC. All in Wake County, which is the Raleigh area. All attended a BioGen conference in Boston in late February.

In other news, there are three cases of the Mumps at Appalachian State......this concerns me because I live right across the street, not because I'm afraid of getting the Mumps. I had them in first grade, and Munchkin was immunized as a baby. But so many people don't get immunized for whatever reason. I hope it's limited to those three kids.

Sadly, we have cancelled our planned trip to NYC this weekend. This was my daughter's birthday present that we gave her way back in December, she has been waiting over three months to see Billie Eilish at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. There's just too much crazy stuff going on now with the pandemic and the CDC is recommending no unnecessary travel. The concert hasn't been officially cancelled but I wouldn't be surprised if that ended up happening.

I assume a lot of these concert tours are going to be re-done even if they aren't officially postponed. Between the concert tickets, the flight to NYC tickets, and the hotel room, I am potentially out thousands of dollars, but I'm going to see what sorts of refunds or vouchers I can get, if any. On top of the virus itself, I was perhaps more concerned about getting stuck in a quarantine situation in a very densely populated area hundreds of miles away from home.

Stay safe and take care. Better safe than being put in a bad situation.

61 corona cases in Finland already. But thankfully no death yet. No case in my hometown or around the area where I live. But that may change since more and more people are getting sick here in Finland. Now some schools are closed and even children are getting it.

I try to stay calm and wash my hands like crazy.

That’s the worst case scenario right there. Being stuck in an unknown situation with your family. Good decision on your part...there will be other shows and trips to make!
