June 30th truly will be a sad day here. 
Though I have not posted very prolifically, I have enjoyed my time here and am sad to see it drawing to a close.
However, there are other boards than this, and I hope to see many of you again.
Now, if I wanted to madly speculate that sai King will reveal which secret board account he's been using all this time on closing day should I do that here, or in some other thread?

It's just too sad the board is closing soon
To me it has always seemed like the kindest place in the world. The world is cruel, but here we always had very special atmosphere. I have not seen a place online where people are kind to one another. So many good people here... You always know that you can come here and get your hug (virtually, but it does not make it less important). I've met a lot of great people here, I stay it touch with some of them in other social media. A lot of amazing friends here! I am so happy I've been a part of this board. And thanks to the people who ran this place, Ms Mod, moderators -all of you are just awesome. Thanks to everyone who always greeted newbies and made new user immediately feel at home. And thanks to Mr King, I will never stop reading his books (probably, will never read them all, though), but they do give me a lot of good time.

I don't remember how I first found this place, and I haven't always posted regularly, but you guys were always here for me. I don't like goodbyes but I have no problem expressing my appreciation for the many, many people on this board who have touched my life, made me smile, gave me something to think about, or just helped to keep the lights on here and keep it a safe and happy environment for friends.
Sorry Moderator I know you aren't comfortable being singled out, but you've always been a class act, a true pro, trustworthy, and a genuinely fun person. I am a man of few regrets, but I will always regret missing the chance to meet you back in 2018, but such is life. Perhaps one day.

I have been remiss in not giving kudos to our other wonderful Mods- Tery, Flakes and Deej. It's just that in my mind I know that Marsha is retiring so for me that means that she will be gone and it hasn't really sunk in that the actual SKMB will be gone and that means that my three other favorite Mods will not be seen on a daily basis either. Oy vey!!! Tery, Flakes and Deej- thank you all so much for putting up with me and my occasional antics and/or hissy fits. You've all handled yourselves with dignity and respect. There have certainly been some trying times and definitely some rather trying members. I won't mention names as the list is too long...... Life isn't going to be the same for me, for sure. There's going to be a large gap in my heart. I have met some of the greatest folken here. Again, I won't mention names because the list is far too long. This will always be a forspecial place for me and I will carry it in my heart forever. I love you guys!!!!

Let me just pause for a moment and reflect on what this place has meant to Out of Order...........
It's been exactly 2 years on this board on this very day. The internet sure will be a lot more boring without this place to hang around. Thanks to all the Moderators for keeping this place in-tact. Thanks to all the regular members for being there to talk to. I'm going to miss this place even with the Playground to take its place.
