Light Yagumi is very similar in personality to Todd from Apt Pupil, and then the whole killing someone by writing something in a notebook reminds me of Everything's Eventual. Any of you ever seen Death Note?
Death Note reminds me of two SK stories.

I loved Death Note—very SK-like, as you said.
My son was into the books. Not sure if he saw the movie or not though.
I saw it a while back and really enjoyed it. Recommended it to some friends as well.
