...what the hell are ya talkin' about now me foine lady?.....

The allergy warning.

You'll have to excuse my sick sense of humour. But "suicide in a box" is what we call a lot of foods. Yesterday, my husband found some really expensive food item. After reading the ingredients he put it back and said "I could kill you a lot cheaper than that."

But I really miss Wonder Bread. It's one of the few things I REALLY miss.

I was in Scotland and out shopping with my uncle. (or maybe it was just in the house)... anyway he asked - why are you reading the labels on the food?

Then my son came over from Edmonton and started doing the same thing. His question was "Do all Canadians read food labels?"

Being in his 70s and quite old school, he did not think they should have even started putting "best before" dates on foods!

"Aye, Lassie - 'tis still good - I see nae mold on that oatmeal!"

The woods are lovely dark and deep
The carbs man, the carbs.;;D
For me it's just twice a year, winter is my turkey and stuffing, and then summer, there's my cucumber sandwich. The WB loaf is bought for these specific occasions, and after I take out two slices, the younger family scoffs up the rest. Always watching my carbs, but sometimes I just can't/won't pass up yumminess. Nosireeebob!

My family tries to stay away from all those nasty carbs, but for a couple of weeks we were indulging in too many of them. Well! I got home one Friday afternoon recently and I was so bloated I felt like the Staypuft Man. It took me more than a week to deflate and then get back to normal. If my gut is not making noise and I'm not passing gas on a regular basis, it's gruesome.

Now we've been talking about those turkey and stuffing sandwiches in another thread the subject of this thread is required to hold the turkey and stuffing together and after assembling your ingredients and topped with either Hellman's or Miracle Whip then I give it a big squish so all those ingredients meld and merge! Turkey Day, COME ON!! I'z hungry!!
Haunted, I love it when you talk dirty!
