You both are very lucky! We are NOT in our dream home (though, we are in a dream location!) --- maybe we can make it our dream home eventually.....

We're in a similar place, home wise. We bought our house a little over 21 years ago, and it's gradually become what we want. We still work on things (kitchen re-do is on the schedule for spring), but all in all we're happy here. Not so much the area, but the house... yeah. It's all good
