I'm reading Dr. Guillotine by Herbert Lom
I'm just joking. I'm actually a Monarchist. I cried when they got rid of 'God Save the Queen' for the Australian national anthem. Now we've got the piss-weak 'Advance Australia Fair'. 'Waltzing Matilda' would have been a better choice. There was a competition in the 70's, and a person could compose a new National anthem, and if chosen, there was a monetary prize. I remember mum sitting down righting out a score.

Maybe this is about the Royal Family then? "Off with their heads!!"
I've actually got the book, Neesy, but haven't read it. I think its from the guy that was in the 'Pink Panther' movies. I just think the hype of 'celebrity' is a joke designed buy the 'manipulators' too make people feel inadequate. I was having a drink at the 'Greenroof' on Monday, and I watched the current affair show after the news, and I know you're a ACADACA fan, seeing your husband is from Scotland, so they had this segment about the band.

ACA-DACA=AC/DC, that's what we called them here in Australia. I not sure what's the reference to Celine Dion's about, I know 'Abracadabra' was a song by Steve Miller. What ever happened to Celine Dion? What ever happened to Shania Twain? I'm going to see the latest Mad Max movie on Thursday.

The Celine Dion reference means exactly that - that my hubby likes her~ ;):)

We sort of look fondly on her here in Canada, as she is originally from Quebec, so I thought it funny that he was such a big fan of hers and living in Scotland at that time.

Ya, I forgot she was Canadian. She was a good singer-or still is-didn't she get discovered on one of those shows? I remember she was married to a man a lot older than herself.

Still is, as far as I know - he was her manager and twice her age or perhaps even older.

There's a 'spoiler' thing with the last message you left, Neesy. There is also an IMG thingy. How do I open that? Or am I supposed to open it?

The image unfortunately is just a broken link. Maybe Neese will repost it later.

It was just a picture of Celine, her husband Rene and their three kids - one older boy and two babies in christening gowns.

Here is another try - different picture, but maybe it will work this time??
