I just did this.... it felt great! (Thanks Char... )Just a kind word . . .not really a quote . . .
Close your eyes.
Think of someone or something you love - and let yourself smile.
Know that you are safe and loved.
Throw your arms open and be grateful for all that you have!

It requires faith. Not that that's a bad thing. But who's gonna do this without believing someone up there likes them?It really does work. Sometimes all we need to do is just be thankful.

I don't have the same faith that I think you're talking about.. but I did it and it felt wonderful. I am connected to our Earth and beyond... and to all that inhabit it... there are degrees of faith, I think. It requires faith. Not that that's a bad thing. And also sometimes the love of friends can be enough.
What kind of faith do you think I mean?I don't have the same faith that I think you're talking about.. but I did it and it felt wonderful. I am connected to our Earth and beyond... and to all that inhabit it... there are degrees of faith, I think.

I thought you were talking specifically about God.What kind of faith do you think I mean?
These aren't exactly what you would call famous, but they are nonetheless good ones (to me, at least). (They're from the same poem):
"Whatever you're feeling right now, there is a mathematical certainty that someone else is feeling that exact thing.
"I’m not saying you will find the meaning of life in other people,
"I'm saying other people are the life to which you provide the meaning."
