Finally reading Mr Mercedes and had a question...

I have not finished the book, so I do not know if this is a set up for something else or not. I am reading the hardcover version, and on page 175 at the end right before 7 starts, Mr King writes: He [Hodges] leaves his house with no premonition he won't be back. Then on page 213 - Hodges goes to his house for a nap. Page 175 seems like a buildup that something prevents Hodges from going home - but he goes back several times. Any one else confused by that?

Yes, he did. So the line on 175 makes no sense. It leads you to believe that he never goes back to his house but he does several times.

Haven't heard of it sorry, "In like Flynn" is a saying that came to mind when you said Flint... which would have worked too.
