First in Human

Has anyone else been watching this series on Discovery Channel? It has to do with people taking experimental treatments at the hospital of the National Institute for Health, people who are gravely ill. It is narrated by Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory.I'm finding the stories of these people compelling, touching, and just feel like pulling for each and every one of them..

I think there were four or so episodes in the miniseries, I don't know if they plan on doing any more. I won't give away any of the details in case anyone wants to watch it, but it is well worth it I think..

I don't get that channel but it reminded my of the movie "Man on the Moon" about Andy Kaufman. That was sad...

I hear you..but really it was about hope,and the incredible advances and how hard it is to walk the line between treating someone ill,and instituting new medications..will probably pop up on youtube or Netflix or whatever,really worth a look.
