I guess OoO won't be needing the plastic bag today......
but could you loan it to DiO?.....I hate to waste a good bag.

The burlap left me a little itchy, but I'm going to keep it. He can use his own damn bag!!:D

Happy Birthday, Jacob! The football gods heard and answered, just for you. And OoO. ;-D

Beautiful avatars today, Sunny and OoO.

Thank you, CAT. The foliage here is looking really dull this year. They said it might on the news due to the lack of rain these last few weeks and the warmer than normal temps. They might be right for once!

Dear Football Gods,

Tomorrow I turn 25. On the 25th, no less. I'm certain this doesn't happen too many people that often, but I digress. All I want from the Football Gods is to wake up tomorrow knowing that the Giants have a win. I don't care the score. Be it 5-2 or 3-0 or even a score involving fractions or decimals. These are the Giants so I know anything is possible. (I'll wait until Christmas before I wish for an All Manning Super Bowl.)

Sincerely,

A Disconsolate Ginger Kid
You got your wish. They looked pretty good last night. And in all honesty they are only a couple of bad decisions away from being a 3-0 team. I think they have a good shot at the NFC East especially if Dallas can't overcome the loss of Romo and Bryant. (But don't tell OoO I said any of that. :))

NFL Source: Tom Brady Will Serve a Four-Game Suspension at Some Point This Season - Yahoo News

You know . . . the more I think about it, the more I'm glad that attribution is dead in journalism. I don't know who this guy's "source" is, but he obviously knows less about moribund courtroom calendars than he does about the NFL.

Forgetting for the moment that Tom Brady deserves no suspension because no credible evidence was ever presented that he did anything wrong, he most certainly will not serve any suspension this season. In point of fact, judge Berman himself said that -- should the ruling be returned on appeal -- he would be prepared to vacate it on other grounds.

I'm no great legal mind, but even if Brady were actually guilty and judge Berman's ruling was misguided, there's little reason to think this thing will even see the inside of a courtroom for a year or more. More likely that at some point the NFL will try to drop the appeal as quietly as possible and try to extricate itself from this embarrassing public relations nightmare.

But it's good to know that this Yahoo guy has a "source."
