With the hope that science will some day find a cure for Melancholia.I'm still wearing the bag on my head from the Dallas Game last week. It's a little difficult to see.
How do you and OoO ever get used to it?
Question... Why is RGIII even on the Redskins roster at this point?
People who don't root for the Patriots might not know (and be wildly amused) by the fact that the Indianapolis Colts have a banner hanging in their stadium which identifies them as 2014 AFC "Finalists," you know . . . the way an actual NFL team might hang a championship banner (if it could ever win one).
Keep that in mind as we all chuckle bemusedly at how the internet makes comedians of us all.
The Jets consider 8-8 to be a winning season. The Dolphins have about 10 banners that say 8-8.

You forgot "they only win because they cheat" from the sour grapes arenas.Nice win by the 'phins, too.
I get a kick out of the peanut-butter-and-jealousy (yeah . . . I used it again) crowd clinging to the idea that New England has only been successful because it is in such a "weak" division.
Yeah . . . weak division.
Fifteen years living in the conference championship and the Super Bowl.
Keep on believing that.
And while you're believing that, check this:
Tom Brady won't live forever . . . but the Patriots are one of the youngest teams in the league and don't have any significant free agents pending next year.
Y'all have a nice day, now.
Thanks.Dude!
All kidding aside . . . nice win.
We're comin'!
Jeeze... Talk about sour grapes. You forgot "they only win because they cheat" from the sour grapes arenas.
Why, yes, I was thinking of you.Jeeze... Talk about sour grapes.
LOL. When I saw this, I was wondering... Where is Ms Mod?Why, yes, I was thinking of you.
Hadn't seen that before--thanks!LOL. When I saw this, I was wondering... Where is Ms Mod?
Thanks.
I thought we were coming to you this weekend.
I'll have to refill my blood pressure medicine before then.
Well . . . let's not get bogged down with the details.
"On to New York" means you guys are next, whether you're coming in or we're going out.
You and I know something that the TV people are only recently learning, Dio. These division games are matters that fans of other teams, in divisions that don't have to deal with Darth Belichik and Tom Skywalker, don't understand.
I'm gonna just go ahead and say this out loud:
I don't necessarily "like" that green team that plays in New Jersey and likes to pretend it represents New York (or its fans), but that team . . . and those fans . . . understand the nature of rivalry.
And I am far more worried about those pesky Jets than I am (or was) about the Colts (ha ha ha) or the Bronocs . . . or the Bungles.
This week's game is what it's all about.
Bring it, Jets.
We need a good team to test us.
I might be biased, but I don’t believe there to be a bigger and uglier rivalry in the NFL since 1997 than the New York Jets and New England Patriots. And it’s not just the fans, as Shady Brady once declared ‘I hate the Jets.’
Would be interesting to find out if that's how most Patriots fans think of it.I might be biased, but I don’t believe there to be a bigger and uglier rivalry in the NFL since 1997 than the New York Jets and New England Patriots.
