Am I wrong in perceiving that that local inveterate Pats fans went underground for a few days?

cat in a bag and I are probably at odds here. I admire Peyton, I revere Peyton, I look at him as a model citizen - but after watching him for the first half dozen games, I'm ready to call it a wrap for the Football Hero as long as the Brockstar keeps doing well. I would like to see Peyton go out on top of many records rather than a gurney.

No, not really at odds, Grandpa. Peyton has been my favorite for years and years, long before he came to Denver. I was probably the most excited person on the planet when he decided to go there.

I am saddened by how quickly he has declined in health and saddened by all of his on-field struggles. He has been my favorite for so long, it is hard for me to imagine watching football and not have him out there. Maybe silly and school-girlish, but, there it is anyway.

I am behind Osweiler, going forward. But it is a tough transition for me.

:)

This Pats fan posted earlier in the week. OK with the loss. Worried about the long term. Offensive players are dropping like flies :(

Still praying Gronk is back by the playoffs. Pats don't go deep in the playoffs without him.

Hoping Amendola is back this week. Pats are going to be pulling guys off the street to fill out the receiving corps soon.

I hope Gronk comes back soon. The Broncos defensive players coming up to his cart, shaking his hand and wishing him well, said a lot.

The Patriots are missing people due to injuries. Boo-hoo. I don't know the exact Broncos injuries, but I know that we were missing at least one outstanding linebacker (Ware), our offensive line is loosely strung together due to injuries, and the Broncos were missing their starting quarterback.

Credit to the Eagles. Came in, played hard, capitalized on poor decision making by Patriots, and won the game. Close at the end but that stupid on-side kick in the first half, interception, and punt return for touchdowns did in the Pats. Rare bad coaching day for them.

Pats receivers need some super glue as they were stone-handed all day.

Here's hoping they get their act together next week.
