The Titans released Zach Mettenberger. I think that there will be some interest for him. He's young and has a big arm. I think he would fit nicely backing up a good veteran QB while he develops a little more.
Jets should sign him (I've said so since the beginning of last year). Then tell Fitzpatrick... 'You snooze, you lose. Good luck.' And release Geno Smith.
I would take Zach over Geno in a second. Zach has started a few games so he's not totally green. I'm not sure why the Titans released him. He seemed to play decent for them (they were the Titans after all, so whose going to look good?
). Maybe he wanted to be released because he is never going to start ahead of Mariota and the Titans were just doing him a favor.
