Glad my TV is black and white..........
We got one of these plastic screens for our black and white TV when I was growing up. Thought I was in heaven. :)

One other fact I neglected to mention - I wasn't even born back then.
You missed a lot. It was a strange and wonderful year for me. I was 12 and a bit of a rebel. Watched the first man walk on the moon. Was captivated by the Mason family saga on TV (years later was stalked by one of the Manson Girls who had joined a biker gang). Went to my first Drive-In to see Planet of the Apes. The year of the miracle Mets was exciting. I ran off to go see Woodstock (never made it as we got stuck in traffic right across the NY border and my friend's brother drove us kids back and the older ones went back up, ditched the car and hitchhiked to Woodstock). I joined a poker club with older teenagers where smoking cigars and drinking whiskey was mandatory. And the Jets won Super Bowl III.

Is this a sign of the end of an era or just a bad game?! Lots of sloppy plays. Broncos could've handled Chargers much better.

I think it was a bad game for the defense, but it did show that you can bring them down a few notches with good analysis. It also shows that we're vulnerable with a porous O-line and a choice of unseasoned and hence unpredictable QBs.

Good game between the tomatoes and the blue raspberries last night. Enough with these gawd awful uniforms, already.

We agree! I saw them come on the field and yelled, "The Broncos are in their pajamas!" My son shrugged and said, "I like them - but I'm color-blind."
