I don't know whether I'm more shocked at how bad the Patriots offense looks or that the Giants actually won a game and looked good doing so.

CAT? Are you okay?
The Patriots are darn lucky they won yesterday as terrible as they're playing overall. They only had one brief stretch in the 3rd (think that's when it was) quarter that even slightly resembled a cohesive team effort. Hope they get their act together soon or this is going to be a very bad season for my blood pressure otherwise. And why don't they listen to me when I'm giving such good advice from my couch?! ;-D

Oh, it was embarrassing. I'm hanging my head with shame.

But I *am* loyal, if not proud. That counts for something, right?
I feel like an obnoxious whiny football parent whose kid has lost the game for the team.
Yep, that counts. No one wants a fairweather fan! And all hope is not lost. There is a certain team that comes to mind who had a pretty so-so regular season a few years ago and still ended up winning the SB. :)

Except, not this year for your Titans. Because my Broncos are going to do it.

Uh-huh. You know of who I speak. (Or is it whom? ;-D) They made the playoffs by the skin of their teeth that year. I was still cheering for them though. (Cry pardon, Ms. Mod!) I have progressed to a slight respect but just can't see myself ever cheering for the Pats.
I understand even though I cheer for the Broncos because of my respect for Peyton Manning. (Eli's another story.) Of course, that cheering wouldn't happen when they play each other! ;-D

I got the double whammy this weekend as the Canes and the Dolphins lost. (and looked bad doing it) That Canes defense is pretty bad. The sad part is that I think they have improved from last year and they are still horrible. They had a bad blow when they lost their QB before the season started but I really like this rookie that is playing for them. When he gets the rookie out of his system, I think he will be pretty good.

I still think that the Canes are the toughest bunch of med students in the country ;-D.

You're friends with Chuck Todd, aren't you? (He l-o-v-e-s the Canes.)
