I am currently reading Stephen's book on writing. I have read a few King novels, but never enjoyed them. I don't especially like horror; but, I highly respect him as a writer. His book on writing is entertaining, informative, and direct, which I absolutely appreciate. I thought it'd be nice to chat and share ideas and inspirations with others who have read the book or have similar ideas and aspirations. It just occurred to me to look under a book section of this site to see if there is a forum for readers of his writing book there. I'll do that now. Thanks all!

I understand what you are saying...you just do not like the horror genre. You may be surprised because Stephen does not always write just plain old horror. Some of his books are more character driven. Hope you enjoy the board very muchly!!!!!
