Oh God! I thought that said 50 foot monster waves at Hawaii's beaches. I've gotta stop skimming.
WOW. not sure I would want to be on Hawaiis beaches
To me, 50-foot waves are the ocean's way of saying "stay out now". Just sayin'.
One of my most frustrating experiences was trying to surf when I was in Hawaii back in the early 90’s. Couldn’t go for more than a second or two after getting up on the board before falling off, and I was an avid windsurfer with my own rig at the time, and pretty good at it. Seems if I didn’t have a sail and wind to help me out I was a complete klutz.
