I just got a call from her. I have a urinary tract infection. I didn't feel any symptoms for this, but she ordered me an antibiotic. I'm glad it's nothing very serious.

I am all for going on antibiotics to cure a urinary tract infection pegasus216 but once it is all cleared up, trying drinking pure cranberry juice to stop them from coming back. It does something to your urinary tract so that it is more resistant to bacteria. It's worth a shot, especially if this is not the first UTI you have had
I had one back at the end of December. I don't like cranberry juice, but I may try it again just to hopefully stop these infections.

I think you may even be able to get cranberry extract in pill or capsule form at the health food store if you don't like the taste of cranberry juice - it is quite tart.

Let's see, Good morning, almost afternoon. This week has been somewhat of a nightmare with work and then to top of it off, Strep Throat. Fun weekend. Feeling a bit better, just bored since I can't get near anyone. Likely gave everyone at work. Awesome job, right? Production week, couldn't call off really, but I should have and got checked earlier. .. Thought maybe I was getting a bad cold.

I used to get strep throat a lot in the past until I had the tonsils yanked out at the age of 34 - ouch! It meant an overnight stay in the hospital but it was well worth it.
I'm going night nights now. Thanks for the lovely pics on Scotts thread folks. As always, I've enjoyed bobbing on here, see you all tomorrow. it's late here in the UK....
