A bunch of those particular English words I'd never heard before.
Me too. They're English, but so archaic that they almost don't qualify, IMHO. Most of the real weirdoes had 'tells'; either clues in root word or structure that made it just possible to guess which of the two options was correct, but #6 had neither. Winged that one & got it wrong.

I will briefly state (so I do not ramble on) what I think about grammar, spelling and vocabulary. According to english grammar rules the word grammar should be spelled grammer, spelling is used by covens and so spelling wrong could be a disaster except with english grammar that is already the ultimate disaster. Voekabuelary is the exact spelling following english grammar rules. The moral of this story is that when in rome do as the romans or where grammar rules are meaningless make sure you do make mistakes that may be a correction...
