Does anyone watch this?

It is wildly fascinating to me not only in the medical sense, but just the nonchalant way in which they approach these wildly embarrassing things.

We see it all. There are no blurring of images. These people just matter-of-factly show their most private of areas. And the audience sees it all.

Now, I'm sure when the participants agree to do the show, they are compensated well -- maybe the corrective surgeries that British medicine wouldn't pay for normally and would be out of pocket for them -- are part of their "pay" for the right to film these private medical conditions, procedures and discussions.

What is also fascinating to me about these British shows dealing with medical issues (I've watched one on plastic surgery too) is it doesn't seem to matter if they are talking to teenagers or adults. They just discuss it and in the case of the plastic surgery show, they brought in adult models to a high school, male and female -- only in tight fitting underwear on the bottom and nothing on the top for the woman. These teenagers, also male and female, were then given sharpies to draw on these adult models what they would do as far as plastic surgery.

Why is America so puritanical in this regard and Europe is so much freer about nudity and sexuality?

Any insights or discussion welcome. Just keep it P.G. please or we'll have to delete.

And just to add, I watched another show Very British Problems (which is hilarious) and it basically characterizes British people as very stuffy and snooty -- one guy said, paraphrasing, that he would "eat a plate of cold sick before he sent it back to the kitchen" if something was wrong when eating out at a restaurant.

This strait-laced prim and proper depiction of the British in the above mentioned show totally goes against the Embarrassing Bodies show premise.

I'm confused by the British.

Netflix. There are some brilliant foreign shows on Netflix.

Netflix monitors you. The type of shows you watch are the type of shows they will suggest for you.

I watch a lot of documentaries and foreign series, so they are recommending great shows to me all the time. No RomCom bullsh*t, no comedies, no goofy movies.
