Just finished Dr. Sleep. Not disappointed at all. Great job. I usually have low expectations for sequels. I read The Shining after seeing the movie. I'm a Kubrick fan. Some 30 years later i bought On Writing. Then I finally got Chistine, similar to a novel I was going to call Cruise Control. King did better than I, except for the end and the bit where
Chistine kills the owner of the garage.
What motivated that? I"m also overjoyed, as a former English prof that Mr.King has finally graduated from "true facts," thrice in It, and once in On Writing. Sorry to nit-pic.

Welcome, Taoskier.
Have fun here :)
I don't understand your last sentence, but I am no professor, just one of the constant readers.
From my nick, you probably understand which SK book is my favorite ;)
