For 11 years the thing you push down to drain the bathtub in our master bath does not stay down - so I shove the part of the nail clippers that you press down between Thing 1 and Thing 2 and it holds it down. This way, I can drain the tub, and I always know where the nail clippers are. It's magical.
;-D

My son lost the plug for the garbage disposal side of the sink a couple years ago, and do you think I ever remember to look for one when I'm out? I have been using a plastic lid to cover the drain in order to do dishes.

HollyGolightly - my upstairs sink is draining very slowly - it has one of those plunger thingies. So my problem sounds similar to yours - so how did you fix it? You stuck part of a nail clipper in it?

Luckily we have two matching sinks up there so lately my son and I just use the one on the right (we call it "Andy's sink) :love_heart:

Hmm, well your sink drain is probably different from my bathtub drain doohickey - which looks like this:

So you have to pull out the nose looking part the you would normally just push down, and jam the handle part of the clippers between the base of the nose and the empty circle it goes in. I'll have to take a picture for you. It's janky as it gets, but it's how I roll.
