Did you all know Cher's mother appeared in a very famous episode of I Love Lucy? It is the one where they are in Paris and the girls want designer dresses; Lucy threatens to go on a "hunger strike" until she gets a dress. Eventually her plan unravels and hilarity ensues.

She's much better as an actress than a singer. I don't care for her low vocal register and tight vibrato.

All I can say is she's been around for decades and has been a part of pretty much everyone's life. You might not like her, but she sure knows how to make headlines and get that thing that every celebrity craves- OUR ATTENTION! Long live the Queen of Pop!
