God, that brings back memories. I still get emotional when I hear that.
I think this is my favorite, too.
I saw Dan Fogelberg in concert in the early 90s. He was fabulous! Played Leader of the Band and Same Auld Lang Syne back to back. The front of my shirt was soaked from tears because I couldn't wipe them away fast enough and applaud at the same time. :sigh:
I've got the urge to do some searching to listen to some of those songs. I'm feeling somewhat nostalgic today.
...I truly love Leader of the Band, but at the risk of de-railing the Thread....this is my MOST favorite Fogelberg piece...

Love this song! It's a shame Mr. Fogelberg died so young. A great singer/songwriter.
There was nothing like a Ramones live show! No other band could pack so many songs into an hour. lol
