I'm used to being the voice of dissension here, but I don't think this is that big of a deal. I want to be cremated. What's the difference between that and being cremated for use?

I get the people who say they aren't told and that they want to have a choice with the remains - I do. But if you're going in for an abortion, really wouldn't it be better if the remains were put to use? It's better than using vast amounts of land so the remains can just rot away.

I guess maybe it's because I value all life - animal, plant, human - and I don't place that much more significance on a human life than an animal life, and animals are used for much, much worse than that. And most likely humans in a lot of places.

You know what, I tend to agree when actually thinking about it, past the shock value headline.
