Well, I've been a Stephen King fan for a while (more than 15 years, I think) and my favorites are Mysery, the Green Line and soon to be, the Shining. June being for me Stephen King's books reading month, I'm finishing the Shining and it is genuinely very good. Excellent characterization, I love the thin border between madness and supernatural phenomenon. A lot more subtle than in the Stanley Kubric's film, eventhough J.Nicholson interpretation was excellent, it was not the Jack Torrance I'm reading about. The progression toward the climax is just brilliant and well paced, which is the mark of a great story teller.

It's great, isn't it? We learn so much from each other. My ex brother-in- law is Polish. He moved back to Kracow. My neice - his daughter, has been back and forth from eastern europe since she was little.
Speaks Russian, Polish - Went to college in Prague. Now she is in California.
I learned a little Polish from him/her, but alas it was mostly cuss words. I know I am called Kaska there

Dear Elvraie,
I have Walloon blood coursing through my veins. The Walloons lived in what is today Belgium. My ancestors that migrated to Sweden could speak Belgium/French. It is a great honour to meet another Gael. It was a tragedy what Julius Caesar did to us and our leader Vercingetorix. Hail Caesar, I spit.
