Hi kristin teeter - don't be shy - we don't bite!IM KRISTIN teeter .
Welcome aboard! Saw some wolves this once out Point Mills. Sitting in a tree, minding my own business, when I notice movement off to the north. Three...dogs?...coyotes?...yeesh! those are wolves! Spread out about 15 yards 15 meters apart heading west to east through the hardwoods, October of the year, I watched them disappear. While pondering their presence, I notice them again, this time headed east to west. Looked to be hunting...so...I take an 8-pt. shed I had with me and began to rattle and bang the antlers together. Most scientific. Rattled them for a good long time, longer than I normally would...and I figured I'd likely not see any deer pass by my tree. I was archery hunting whitetail deer. Anyway, after about five or fifteen minutes I hear something approaching through the leaves to my back, an oblique angle over my left shoulder. You can get away with a certain amount of motion but all wildlife have sensors that tell them when you are near...so I peek over my shoulder and there was a wolf 40-yards/meters away, the...brownish colored one...the other two were kinda silver/black...she/he was keyed right in to my direction but looking at ground level. Then, she/he looked up, spotted me, and turned and fled. Never saw the other two but they must have been close. This other time I had one approach to within ten yards/meters of my back and she/he took off like a wolf when I stood. Whud you think of Dreamcatcher?
