Hey guys, I can't decide on what to read next. What are your favorites or recommendations?
I've read:
Salem's Lot
Pet Semetary
Joyland
Mr. Mercedes
Full Dark No Stars
The Shining
Doctor Sleep
Needful Things
This is pretty cool. I only have read about double of king that u have but I have read all the ones u have read. Must have similar tastes. I'll give two recommendations. Quick read and we'll not a quick read. For quick read I would say the long walk or rage. The long walk I liked better but rage is good too. Then for a longer quest must read either the stand or 11/22/63. Of all the books I've read these I would rank 1 and 2. Fantastic. If there wasn't so much to read right now I would be re reading those for sure and enjoying every minute of it.

One of my favourites is a little book called 11/22/63 - I read this back in 2012 and it led me to join this message board.
These girls are talking sense, I was about to post saying read either IT, the stand, or 11/22/63. They're my 3 favourites, in that order. My favourite short story/novella is the langoliers (4 past midnight), I would recommend it to anyone.

IT is amazing. But it is a long book. For a shorter novel i'd recommend Carrie, Cujo or The Dead Zone. Or try some short stories Nightmares & Dreamscapes or Just After Sunset or Skeleton Crew or novellas like The Bachman Books or Different Seasons. When you time for a long dive indulge in the dark tower series. The Stand and 11/22/63 are also masterpieces but they are, like IT, long.

This is great way to choose......
Close your eyes, hold both arms out straight at your sides, spin counterclockwise three times, and spit to the west.....
then with your right hand point, and open your eyes. Whichever book you're pointing at, is the one you should read.

I'm listening to IT on audio book and will probably read finders keepers when it comes out. Thanks for the suggestions you guys finally convinced me to bite the bullet and "read" IT.
