I'm pretty sure this was one of his. I doubt it could have been published any later than early 2000s, and maybe quite a bit earlier. But, with his tendency to name books with random, cool-sounding titles that have no relation to the story, I can't for the life of me remember the name of it.
The gist of it was, the protagonist was a woman, and was attacked in her house by a creepy guy she knew from work. She managed to kill him, but then the body disappeared and he kept stalking her. I don't think there were any supernatural elements, just a straight-ahead suspense novel with a rather obvious solution (but an explanation that was worth the read).
Anyone? Bueller??? Bueller???
