HELP!!!!!

There was a short story my teacher showed me around two years ago and said it was Stephen King, but I'm fairly certain it isn't. Of anyone could give me the title or author it would be appreciated.
Plot: four or five kids go the an amusement park, with a rollercoaster famous for people committing suicide off of by jumping into the lake. The kids snuck in after dark to climb the top of the rollercoaster but (and I can't remember which one) either the dead started coming out of the lake or the rides started moving on their own. I can't remember what happened at the end. If anyone can remember please help me out!
