I read that! Seems like he jointly belongs to the neighborhood, i.e., they all have a hand in caring for him.
Sounds like the whole apartment block has adopted the cat, leaving out food for it and letting it in and out.

I watched the video - that is one healthy and well cared for looking baby! I do not understand Russian but at one point it sounds like the nurse in the hospital says "Mugga" - I wonder if that is Russian for 'cat'? - Andy called cats Moggies.
She said "mnogo" to mean "many / much". She said that they were getting many calls from people who wanted to bring clothes, toys, etc. for the baby.
Good kitty. I sure hope those residents understand what a great cat he is. He'd be mine in a heartbeat if I lived there.
