My name is chelle but everybody calls me cricket so feel free to call me either..i live in North Carolina... born and raised.... I have, and have read, almost every single Stephen king book.
I started my king obsession about 23 years ago.... I was 12 years old when I picked up and read rose madder.... after that I was hooked...
I actually still have the original rose madder that I read.
I know sometimes Mr. King will do signings ...or tours... etc.
Does anyone know if or when he may be doing that. I would love for him to sign the book that got me started.

Hey cricket I'm quite the opposite of you. I've just joined this site but growing up Stephen King was not allowed and reading in general was very difficult because I have unusually severe ADHD to the point they thought I was deaf as a child but reading does become much easier when I'm reading something that is interesting to me and for most of my life I've been a huge movie buff with a collection of over 800 movies and one of my favorite genres is horror so I came here to join this community since I'm such a big fan of horror and Stephen King and I've been asking suggestions of what I should read first. Obviously I went and saw the movie "IT" and I'm waiting next year for the second half and then I'm going to read the book but in the meantime I've been taking suggestions from multiple people and knowing that I have severe ADHD Maybe that will help you if you would like to give me a suggestion of what I can start reading right now. Like I said I'm not really familiar with all of his material and I don't know if he has some books that are lighter in there length or something that's not too stuffy but I can't imagine that any of his material is stuffy but I don't know I think I got my point across and you know what I mean I'm not sure exactly how thick his novels are or if there's a wide range of heavier material versus lighter material and length really isn't the problem and I don't want you to think I'm retarded LOL I'm fairly intelligent according to IQ tests but my worst score is always my short-term memory which is why I always have to read something several times before it sticks but like I said the more I like the material the less I have to do that. Any suggestions are welcome and you are certainly welcome in the community. Cheers from New Orleans
