Hi,
I've been an outdoor writer for 10 years. My work consists of non-fiction articles in the 750-1000 word range. Obviously I've written 100's of articles.
I'd like to try my hand at fiction, specifically a book. I have a good idea, (I think), for a book. I just read "On Writing", twice and I'm having mixed feelings as to whether I can do this or not. I fulfill all of SK's requirements except for reading and/or writing 4-6 hours a day. I see that others have mentioned this as well.
That's my introduction.

I currently write for two monthly publications, The Northwood's Sporting Journal and Hawkeye News. I used to write for three other monthlies and a daily newspaper, but they all went belly-up. I've had a few articles published in New England Game and Fish Magazine, Xtreme Predator Magazine, and Buckmaster's Magazine, (online version). I've also written one book, "Coyote Wars, A Deer Hunters Guide to Coyote Hunting".
