FlakeNoir wishing you a peaceful time while the SKMB is closed. You are still a Moderator to me. Life first, SKMB second, so please know you are missed too. Enjoy and may all be well.

I think Flake said it all-- see above post by her. It is not said enough, "we appreciate all that the Mods do on site and behind the scenes. Jordan keeps telling us to delete our cookies ( I think he keeps a secret stash ). Brian pixels his pixels and magical things happen to Jake."

And Stephen King- thank you for this awesome playground. Sure hope you know how important this place is to so many. This is your true Ka-Tet.

Stay safe- enjoy- relax. Now-- lets see who can get their new post count to Zero before the MB opens.

Have a wonderful vacation? Will you see your grandchild?
Not this time around. I'll be going to AZ for this vacation but my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchild and I have rented a condo for a week at the beach in July. That should be fun as she'll be 7-1/2 months old by then and can crawl but not walk so won't have to be worried about her heading to the ocean without our knowing it.

Sounds like a plan!

Thank you! I'm pretty much packed but still hasn't completely sunk in that it's the day after tomorrow. I probably won't sleep Friday night as I'm always worried that I'm going to oversleep and miss my flight when I have these early ones. First leg of the flight starts at 6 AM but that way I can still arrive mid-day their time and get to enjoy a little of it.
Healing vibes - no jet lag, no jet lag, no jet lag

ommmmmmm

Is it a long flight?

p.s. You're not flying United are you (no dragging off the plane)

That would be a real drag, man

Have a great time!

Bon voyage :frog::m_bye: (We will miss you) :monkey:

I hear tell passengers asked to surrender their seats on a United Airlines flight will now receive ten grand, which might make a few hours delay well worth it.

Ms Mod

i have one issue with the vacation closing. It says the board will reopen at 8:30am May 15. 8:00am is a more proper opening time. I know it's only a half an hour but slacking is slacking. ;-D

Have a nice vacation.
My hours are 8:30 - 4 and an hour for lunch (which I rarely take) so that's why I picked that re-open time. It's going to take me a day or two as it is to get back in the swing of things after being gone for two weeks. :smile2:

Thanks!--am hoping I make both connections with no problems. I'm flying on American because that's where I have my frequent flyer account and they do go from Bangor to Tucson without having to change airlines. I have seen the video of the American flight attendant getting into it last week with a woman about her stroller and then other passengers who came to her defense. First stop is at Reagan International and I should have just about enough time to get off the plane from Bangor and to the gate to head to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Think there's a 1-1/2 hour layover there and then straight to Tucson. I'm leaving Bangor tomorrow at 6 AM and arriving in Tucson, their local time of 2:30 but they're 3 hours behind so I probably will be dragging a little since I'll have been up so early. At least Bangor is a small airport so I can be there just an hour ahead of departure.

....I like the airport at Bangor, very small town and friendly......except for that creepy guy Lloyd in the men's room.....
