His name is Mystic Warrior, and he's lightened up a LOT since then.
They insist that this is the same horse.

All I know for sure is that he's 3/4 Friesian and 1/4 Appy. Pretty boy.
The only thing I can think of is what my mom always called "the greying gene". There are some breeds of horses that are born black or dark brown, and by the time they are seven years old, they're completely white. Or less extreme cases of a dark horse slowly lightening over a long period of years. I can't think how to go about researching if that's what this fellow has, though.
