Training? Do tell! I'm barely an amateur, but I still miss how much fun it could be to train a horse. Especially colts. I had two brothers that were nothing but fun the whole time I owned them.
The horse is already broken, but It was hardly ridden after that for years. So when you go to get on, he doesn't understand the cues to make him go, turn, stop, side-pass, etc. We are going to train him so that a novice can ride him and enjoy the ride. He is good natured so I don't think it will be a problem, he just needs some TLC, the cowboy way of course.
