I love snakes. I Think they are beautiful. When i was in Arizona (or was it Nevada, don't remember) i went looking for rattlesnakes because it would be cool to see one. But i never saw one even though i saw signs telling me that they lived in the area. I don't think i could kill a snake, they are so cute. When i come across one in Sweden i often stop for a while just to look at it and perhaps exchange a couple of words. Only have two kinds of snakes here. One is poisonous but not lethally so. To us at least.

The last time I saw a woman with a snake was in 1992 when me and my friend from University- Williamson- went to a pub for a few beers and didn't know that there was a 'live' act coming on.Well I didn't know if the snake was alive or dead looking at the show-it looked comatose-but the lady did a few things with the snake at it seemed to come alive.

We had a few beers at the RSL(Returned Servicemen's League) place and walked up the road to the pub(just an ordinary place; not a strip bar) and sat down and they announced the act and this nice looking woman comes on the stage in a one-piece holding a snake. We were up near the front and she wanted one of us to get up on stage with her and my mate Williamson, he volunteered, and he ended up with a face full of beer because she thought he was getting cheeky.

LOL at the title change. :)

My one daughter loves to check our property out for snakes. She keeps them for a day to study them and lets them go. (Luckily I haven't seen any Rattlers or Copperheads near the house in 14 years, but I has seen them farther up the mountain, and I've taught her what to look for). She usually finds garter snakes, green snakes and the occasional milksnake. On another property we own we also find lots of northern watersnakes (they only reach about 5 feet long, but once we found one over 8 ft long -- catching that one was a trip, and I have been bitten by several watersnakes) , some northern racers and brownsnakes. We have also seen Rattlesnakes in dead timber and Copperheads under rocks there.

The other year I was doing some work around the house with my father-in-law. I said "grab those 2x4's but watch out for the little snake aside of them." He knocked me over flat on my a$$ trying to run away. Luckily my wife got to see it happen. He has been the butt of jokes going on 5 years now. :)

You've got some dangerous snakes in America. We have many also in Australia. Brown, Black, White. They reckon the Taipan is the most deadly snake in the world, but I think there is a water snake more venomous. The snake this woman had was long and thin and looked undernourished. If I had to hazard a guess, I think it would have been juvenile carpet snake. Apparently the place we went to used to be a pub where AC/DC used to play 16 years earlier, it was in Auburn( a suburb of Sydney)

Copperheads have gotten at least 2 of my cats. That's why all kitties come in at night.
