...I got the mental pic of Marsha with a wasted smile and a bag of Doritos...
cue Clint...I never liked the rain until I walked through it with you.
just finished grilling and chowing down on some pork chops, asparagus (yum!), other veggies, cukes, tomatoes, green snap peas, carrots...and a beer. heh!
then we did a few marshmallows...three a piece...had to pull the grill in under the roof-line as the bottom fell out. just put some water on the garden, too.
like the rain! just like the rain! after three I set it out on the deck again...too crowded under the roof-line there, could feel the siding getting warm, best to let the rain douse the coals. all is well. happy weekend.

97 and a storm is brewing. I hope everything stays calm, hubby works tonight and I will be alone with 5 scared kiddos if it gets bad. 
We had some hail and thunder here but Leduc had quite a bit of bother not far from us.

Hail storm this morning around 4 a.m. Pea size hail can be very destructive with gale-force winds!! Basement flooded again. More insurance stuff on Monday...

Yep. It's not bad inside. My silly Shepherd keeps wanting to go out in the backyard, though. It seems too hot for fur people out there! I keep going out to check on her and see if she wants to come inside, but she's content laying in the shade on the east side of the house. I think I'll set up camp on the back deck (covered) and see if I can entice her to come up and sit with me--then she'll come in with me in a little while when it's time to start dinner (just chef salads tonight--too hot for anything else!). I'm tricksy!
Make sure there is cold water available for her and watch for any panting. She might be liking the coolness of the ground. My Mack, blk akita, loved to sun bathe. Pure crazy in Fl heat.

I called him yesterday on his birthday (July 1st) and he said he would have no fireworks on his birthday this year (it was Canada Day) as they are not really in the mood for celebrating yet.
Holy crap! Third tornado spotted south of Calgary. Three in three days.
