Doesn't matter, given the history of his 'terrible hand me downs' he has to drive. Even a Mercedes or BMW of sufficient age and state of neglect would be troublesome. Still not a death trap, I say with all respect Commander.
I'm just remembering having to drive around a CERTIFIED Ford POS, (a 'gift' from dear old Step.....dad.) with a cracked block in the highest summer dog days, in 103 F ( and thats before you add on the heat index) with all the windows down and the HEATER on full blast, just so the flamin' thing wouldn't over heat and stall before I got home from work. .....( deep breath after that necessary run on sentence.)
DIO!.......fix the windows or bust them out darlin'.

Not worth fixing and it's only a temporary situation. But with my luck of course we be gettin' a tropical heat wave.

It's a Chrysler van. 175,000 miles on it and I always get the oldest and worst vehicle. We only need 4 cars until August then I can junk it. The youngest goes off to university in August, and she goes year round for three years. She can't have a vehicle on campus so we'll only need 3 cars then.

Overcast and humid all day but the sun is shining now and it's a beautiful evening 17C / 62F

Tropical depressions have been forming now and again for the past month. Much humidity and high temperatures. Mold and pollen count is up. And sands from the Sahara have been polluting the atmosphere almost daily. And I'm a hay fever sufferer. OK?

Really... I'm not being modest about what I do;
I have got a knack for rhyming things. I know that's true
But, it isn't poetry. A poem touches hearts.
Poems sing... A rhyme is more akin to mental farts.

I caught Seussilitis here, on Stephen's message board.
Careful! It's contagious and, if symptoms are ignored,
You could find yourself a victim of the rhyming bug.
There's no cure; Big Pharma isn't working on a drug.

Watch yourself and, should you feel the need to croon a tune
Where, soon, near Loon in June you'll swoon underneath the moon,
Get yourself a shot of something... Better make it strong
Or (if it is legal where you are) I'd try a bong.

It may help... I'd also recommend a lot of rest.
Read a book - I've found that Sai King's novels work the best.
You may feel as if your brain's experiencing gas
But, if you are fortunate, most symptoms ought to pass.

They keep saying it'll move west towards TX-- Past experience tells me, when it is passed my area and all done- then I cam relax. Seen to many twist and turn. Going to be a rain maker. Been raining forever here. May all in teh gukf be safe.
