Must have been scary then. I was terrified of tornados first when I came up from Newfoundland where there is none.We don't usually get anything that severe here in the NC mountains.
Thanks, bug guy.........Sunny girl, I am relieved you're ok and no major injure occurred...watch yer six...and I'm glad to see that Jeep survived as well...love you kid...
Thankful you are safe, Sunny. Even though you are not in an area prone to Tornadoes, get a weather alert ap or radio. They save lives, especially at night. Thanks, Deej......I'm safe, and as far as I can tell in the dark, all the trees around my house are still standing, and all the shingles seem to still be attached to my roof. Cara is at her dad's house, and she says they're all good.
I kept thinking "this storm is kinda scary".....rain was blowing in an odd pattern, and I heard what I thought was transformer blow out....Now, I think I might have heard that roof hitting the ground.
Our salon manager had two different trees fall on two different vehicles in her driveway.
Hot, humid and hot. It's 87 degrees at 9:20am. The grass mowing is going to be uncomfortable today.
....I am not a "bug" guy......I like wimmins!......Thanks, bug guy......
I drive by that apartment building on the way to work every day. I think the jeep belongs to one of the off duty EMS techs who came to help.
84F feels like 95F and that is after a T storm. Not mowing today! Stay cool, fljoe0
