Humboldt Broncos Hockey Team Bus Tragedy

On Tuesday local hockey players went to the hospital to visit the survivors. The Humboldt players recovering told them to get back on the ice. Yesterday morning on the News it showed several local hockey players slowing skating around the circle of flowers on the ice. It was a heartbreaking sight. Thoughts and prayers to the town of Humboldt.

How sweet! Reminds me of the Hawaiian tradition of making a circle of surfboards on the water and tossing leis into it.

My hometown played against the broncs and I saw them plenty growing up. I still don't like their team because I am loyal to my hometown. That being said, I am very sad that this happened.
