It was a beautiful crisp and clear autumn day, and I went for a walk this afternoon. I went into a thrift store about 5 minutes away from where I live (for the first time) on my way back to look around, and picked up 4 books for $2.50. So as well as exercising my body, now I get to exercise my brain too!

If you liked Angela's Ashes, there are two more books that follow. "Tis" and "Teacher Man"

Oh, I've heard of those. Have you read them? Were they any good?

I don't have a reason for being happy today i just am.

Everything seems to be right in my life right now.

That's awesome, Riot87! I'm glad that you are experiencing that right now.

I thought so. Not as gutwrenching as the first, but very entertaining. I have all three on audio which are read by Frank McCourt.
Tis picks up following his journey to the US, and Teacher Man follows his life after he began teaching.
