I am happy today because boyfriend is home and we can start celebrating the weekend together.
It was a beautiful crisp and clear autumn day, and I went for a walk this afternoon. I went into a thrift store about 5 minutes away from where I live (for the first time) on my way back to look around, and picked up 4 books for $2.50. So as well as exercising my body, now I get to exercise my brain too!
The snow is gently falling on mountain slopes and a frozen pond. Rewarding day. And it's the personal bioversary. Another year down the crapper, and looking forward to the next.

I've reached a certain goal and I'm very happy about that and the weather here now is just wonderful.
If you liked Angela's Ashes, there are two more books that follow. "Tis" and "Teacher Man"

I thought so. Not as gutwrenching as the first, but very entertaining. I have all three on audio which are read by Frank McCourt.
Tis picks up following his journey to the US, and Teacher Man follows his life after he began teaching.
Thanks, all! He didn't get it, and he was pretty upset. I am still waiting to hear back. The waiting ... UGH. Stupid waiting.
